Moncton looking to take aim at nuisance geese by keeping them constantly awake

Lighting system to cost $14,000

As Moncton’s geese population continues to increase – along with a corresponding spike in droppings near key waterways – the city is looking at a strobe light system aimed at keeping the fowl constantly awake and irritated. The system will cost about $14,000 and will be virtually undetectable to humans.
